What is it with CAAD9s?!?
 

Everywhere I go on this forum you come up against CAAD9 owners exalting praise on their bikes. I've never ridden one but am curious to know what is so awesome about this comparatively inexpensive machine. Plus, what percentage of you own them?! So yes/no, do you own one, and if you don't, do you want one?

This has been discussed at great length. Probably last week and the week before.

this happens all the time. CAAD 9s are known to eliminate and even reverse fatigue.

CAAD9... I'd hit that.

CAAD series frames have won races at the highest levels for most of the decade. Where else are you going to get a pro quality frame at blue collar prices?

First gen CAAD9s left the factory ready to race, I don't know why they stepped them down so much in the last couple years.

Can I vote yes if I have a CAAD8??

When I got mine I think the CAAD9 had just come out and was cost-prohibitive.

I too only have a CAAD8. I find CAAD9s to be odd ... :)

CAAD7 for me which I would gladly replace with a CAAD9 if I needed to.

Not only do I have a CAAD8, it's the older one with the horizontal top tube.

I have a 2009 CAAD 9.7. Where else can you get full race geometry and a frame that could be built to 14.9 pound TdF weights...for under $1200? Nowhere- that's where!

they wouldn't do that if they were so great and everybody wanted one. BF members are out of touch obviously.
