What do you wear under cycling shorts?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What do you wear under cycling shorts?

Just wondering what everyone wears under cycling shorts / bibs?

I've been wearing boxer briefs but have noticed I get some nice bunching after a few miles, which turns into pain very quickly.

Thoughts

You're supposed to wear your underwear outside the shorts.

This is a joke, right? I would expect more creativity from a "senior member."

Creativity really isn't needed when you can get so many people to bite so quickly and contribute such fun comments.

PS: I'm really lovin the gummy bear idea.

It's funny, because they didn't even have to use the search function- there were several threads on the same topic on the first page.

If you wear anything under your bike shorts/bibs, don't go to Europe.

wear nothing under the cycling shorts. They are designed to be warn up against the skin. the chafing burning and itching is caused by the shorts inability due to the boxer breefs to remove moisture away from your skin. Also the cotton is probably further aggravating the problem by rubbing. try the shorts with nothing in the way and feel the awesoemness.
