Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

From either Trek Directly or your Trek Dealer. My 2009 2.1 has a similar speed only sensor spot in the front fork for the SpeedTrap style sensor. It is a great design that integrates the sensor into the rest of the bike. You will most likely have to use a Trek computer to take advantage of this sensor. My SpeedTrap sensor sensor was ordered by my local dealer, since for 09 this was a new item and my dealer had never actually seen it work. Good Luck.

The DuoTrap is now available. While having the sensor reside in the non-drive chainstay is nice ingenuity I'm going to wait until I can hear more about how well it works with Trek computers and others that are ANT+ compatible. From what I read it is not clear to me if having this sensor will measure Speed/Cadence/Altitude (Grade %?) all in one or if another sensor is needed elsewhere on the bike to handle one or more of these data points.

FIXED.

So what else can we do with the Madone 6 Series that’s never been done before? Integrate a computer sensor into the frame that measures speed, distance, and cadence, and works with all the major players who use ANT+ wireless technology: Bontrager, Garmin, PowerTap, SRM...you get the idea. Sensor sold separately.

If you're using a Garmin, you'll get your HR readings through that.... The sensors themselves are purely for speed, distance & cadence.
