I have no urge to upgrade my bike
I'm on the verge of a nice increase in salary, yet I don't want a new bike.
Something may be wrong with me.

nothing on my bike needs to be upgraded and yet I want to upgrade everything. I actually had a dream about purchasing a set of wheels a few nights ago. Woke up in a cold sweat

Then chip in a little more for your GF's little brother's bike instead! Who knows, he might be the next great American cyclist!

Send me the $ you would have spent on the bike. My wife won't let me get a new bike (stupid baby on the way excuse). If you help me; we both are happy and my baby won't get orphaned because I spent all my money on a new bike

You are very fortunate. I have struggled with ugrade fever and sometimes I can't help myself. When I was younger, I was a slave to my sex drive and now it is my bike.
I bet Sigmund Freud would have an opinion on this.

I just bought a 6.9 Madone P1 in January and the shop said they changed the seat post shape and it is time to change. This is my first new bike since the late 70's (I still have the Motorbecane Champion Team and ride it). I aint goin to change a dmn thing but I am looking.

I notice that the more I actually get to ride, the less I want to change anything.
When the weather is bad, I dream of Zipps.
