Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did I just create something beautiful?

I started out trying to configure a custom Noah that would be uglier than the Pinarello Prince of Spain, but I ended up with this.

Now I know how Van Gogh felt. I would definitely ride this if I had the money and/or was a 120lb Spanish climber.

Discuss.

+1 I would feel sorry for anyone who spent that kind of money and ended up with a bike that looked like that.

Oh f**k me, this takes hideous to all new heights, shoves a rocket up its a$$ and sends it even higher. I just tasted my breakfast a second time.

Me too. But instead of wanting to cut off my ear, I want to cut out my eyes. That thing is horrid.

It's only supposed to be photo'd going 35 mph or faster, with a half-second or slower shutter. Then its beauty comes out.

Christ, I thought my green Bandersnatch MTB (pictured in its almost-complete avatar below) was over-pimped... the second one is just plain ugly, but that is easy to pull off. The first one takes ugly to artistic levels.

I used to own something similar in the early 1990's:

ps. it was ugly then, and now too.
