Old Bike vs New Bike vs Red Bike vs. Blue Bike
Had a thought today, I ride an "older" Pinarello (2003 Prince) - which is arguably a pretty sweet ride.
My usual M.O. for buying bikes is to camp on craigslist and wait for a wicked deal on an older bike to come up in my size.... but maybe I'm going about this the wrong way?
Is an older top of the line bike necessarily better than a brand new mid-range bike?
if the choice is between something slightly older like an '03 pinarello or colnago and a brand new Streetfire, who's better off here?

The problem with waiting for a good deal on CL is you usually don't know how you'll fit and how it rides. You can test ride and get fitted for a new midrange bike
