Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Perhaps, but when the weather sucks, and the only idiots that show up are you and the two fastest 50+ guys in NY, that's rather inevitable. It did yield valuable data for future training purposes, plus a nifty photo or two.

Why isn't Family Guy funny anymore?

Who was the loudest band ever? (This is a trick question)

Where are my keys?

$80K. And it's not enough.

F me.

But it's a start. I plan to augment that with my 2010 USA Cycling race winnings.

That's actually a better answer than the real one. It's a trick question because The Who were the loudest band ever, at least in 1976: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudest_band_in_the_world

Loudest band... is a meaningless debate. It depends on the venue size and equipment used, so on any given night, a local band in the furthest reaches of Iowa could be the loudest.

The real answer is KISS. Everybody knows that.

I have 12% hearing loss in my right ear that's either from a shotgun going off too close to my ear at age 11, or years spent playing in a rock band and standing to the left of the drummer.

Pcad, in both of your avatars, separated by 15 years, you're gripping the horizontals as if your life depended upon it. Do you ever use the hoods or drops?
