so hey, i just got into road biking and went on my first group ride yesterday.
it was a pretty crappy experience as everyone there was laughing and making weird gestures at me the whole time. plus they were trying to make the my life hell by pushing the speed really high ( i think they hit 19 at one point)
i have no idea why they were being so hostile yesterday.
i dont think they were laughing at my ride as i have a awesome 2009 madone 6 with wheels that look like those deep dish pizzas you get from unos. also, im 5"7 220 lbs so im not too out of shape.
are all roadies elitist arrgoant pricks or did i just find a bad group?
