Not get run over or crash. On second thought, I'm not sure I have enough control of this to really consider it a "goal." I somehow think it is everyones desire, wish, hope, dream, etc. but can your really make it happen? |
Get a spot in and finish the Harpoon brewery to brewery ride
8 centurys more group rides 175 lbs weight have fun :-) |
start riding regularly again and work up to some solid weekly mileage.
lose the weight ive gained since ive been off the bike. all of it and more. enter a race and finish with the pack. do a tri or 2. |
damn you reminded me I've been wantin to start training for a tri
|
Make it up Baldy Rd. up to icehouse canyon trailhead. It's about 10 miles of climbing from 6-10% average peaking around 15 just past the village. I suck at climbing so this would be big for me.
I'd also like to get out and do 120 miles a week. I was averaging that recently until all this rain lately (which is rare so when it comes, the roads get uber slick) and the 30* morning temps. I need some tights and a trainer. |
More than 10 races.
|
Maintain at somewhere between 125 and 120lbs
Win a few junior races Upgrade to CAT 4 Keep riding in the fall while at college. |

2009 was a good year for me cycling wise. It would be difficult for me to set a goal to beat anything I did this year. So I will bike a lot less next year and focus more on weight loss and core exercise.
I will try to ride every day of 2010 and keep to somewhere around 12000km. Do a few more hill nights and work on my speed. |
1.race cat 5 for the team i joined and place in the top 10 by mid season
2.post some good tt time 3.beat my old best time in a sprint tri. 4.finish iron man wis. that im signed up for |

|
Do tour versions of Amstel and Vlaanderen.

Take the overall at Fitchburg in cat 4 at age 18
|
Mine will look ridiculous if I post them; quite ambitious. Probably too lofty. I will look bad if I don't achieve them. So for now, I will have to keep quiet.
There are some great goals listed on here. I hope everyone achieves their objectives! |
same as last year (bad sign), upgrade to 3s. Maybe if I actually race on a consistent basis things will fall in line. Oh, I should probably train, too
|
Do 3 centuries in 2010
Ride consistently with the B ride and hang with the A ride at least once. Get back on the mountain bike and not forget all the skills I lost training for my first century. Do a 50 miler on the mountain bike. |
I think i'm ready to join a Junior Bike Team
I'm also planning to: From January To May 200 Miles a Week When Daylight Savings time is back, all rides more than 40 miles. Every weekend Ride more than 60 Miles 2 Centuries a Month, 3 When Daylight Savings Time Maintain 6% fat Maintain 116-120LBS From June to August (No School) 300-350 a Week 2010 is my official debut into cycling races :) |
