Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They both make "good" bikes.

It's just that BMC is many times cooler than a Trek.

Wouldn't say one makes a better quality frame, if pushed, and with limited knowledge, I'd say Trek. The reason I voted BMC however is they make a better bike for *me* in that I dont want a bike that's too common. Common bikes are not better for me.

EDIT: but I wouldn't buy either

like umd said, you didn't ask anything of substance... if you're comparing a madone 6 series with a streetfire ssx, it should be a no brainer

without at least knowing your price range this is an impossible question

(imho +1 to the [strike]sex[/strike]promachine... it's my dream bike)

How about a poll to ask how many people actually know which is a "better" bike?

BMC have goofy looking TT, ST, RS connections, I just don't get them. Which is better? For what?
