Same pads on aluminum and carbon rim

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Same pads on aluminum and carbon rim

Anyone running the same pads while switching out between aluminum and carbon wheels? If so, what are the pads? and how successful has it been?

Swiss Stop Yellow?

SwissStop Yellow works well. I do it all the time, but I recommend at least inspecting them and cleaning them between switches.

+1. If the weather's dry, I just swap wheels. If I've been riding in rain or with a lot of gunk, I take a paper towel and then sandpaper to the pads before putting the carbon wheels on.

The Swiss Stop Yellows are great on my carbon rims, but not nearly as effective as the regular Campagnolo pads on my aluminum rims.

I never wanted to take a chance of missing a piece of imbedded aluminum in the pad when putting my carbon wheels on. To me it was worth the extra 5 minutes to simply swap out the pads
