Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That paint job is distinctive but tasteful. I used to ride an orange and white Basso, until it cracked along a weld. I liked the Basso's paint job, but it had a certain "circus" quality to it. Your paint job also stands out, but looks very nice indeed.

The IF Crown Jewel retails for about $6,500 I think, but it all depends on the gruppo you choose... IF is ALL ABOUT Customization

Actually the IF Crown Jewel retails for around $1000 or so less than that depending on the build kit. However the IF Ti Crown Jewel does sell for around $6500 with a build pretty much comprable to the one on this bike.

On this one I only bought the frame, fork and headset from IF. Everything else I bough from my lbs with the exception of the wheels. They came from Mike at www.oddsandendos.com .

Thanks, I love the paint job. It isn't for everyone though. I get a lot of comments about how much people like the bike but hate the color. That's fine, everyone likes different things. There are a lot of paint jobs out there that I don't care for, but as long as the owner likes it that is all that matters.
