Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Choosing a new bike or frame

I have a sram red group with an ec90 crankset. I am looking for a frame to replace my current 2007 madone. I am currently a bike shop employee who is leaving very very soon so I want to take advantage of a new bike. All the options are in the same price range so let me know what you guys think.

Its either going to be a Ridley Noah frame (pre-internal routing),
a fuji sst 1.0 frame,
or a fuji sst 2.0 or 3.0 complete bike and slang the rest of the parts.

The difference between the 1.0 and 2.0 is the carbon where the 2.0 uses a lower carbon grade. If there are other options you could think of let me know (less than $1500).

More than likely I will sell my Madone frameset with the 09 rival and sram s900 crankset.

What's wrong with the Madone? I would save your money, but if you must spend it, go with another frame. You already have the groupo.

Nothing is wrong with the madone. The way I see things right now, I am leaving the bike industry to pursue my career and want to take advantage of my massive discount while I have it.
