Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

can't buy tektro V brake pads

hi, I have two bikes and both have Tektro V-brakes both have a Tektro 825 brake pad. I want to replace these with exactly the same. Where can I buy them? I've had to use Shimano pads and they are slightly different. You can't tell me Tektro pads are not available because the bikes are only 12 months old.
Thanks, if anyone can help.

shimano and tektro pads should be exactly the same... unless those are not the cartridge type.

bike shop should have a ton of those.

It matter much if you consider reduced rim wear and better braking to be important.
