nice picture. you dont even look cold!
|
Your ankles and calves should be turning blue.

I remember growing up in the Midwest, that frequently it would get quite warm during and after a heavy snowfall. If you look at the street in the second pic, it just looks wet, so not too terribly cold. Nice!

I don't put anything on my legs other than normal shorts until the temps get below about 35 or 40 F. And I supposedly live in the "South" in Virginia (32"+ of snow over the weekend, another 12"+ due tomorrow and Wed...). Every one of my bikes has road slicks on them, so I'm having bike withdrawal symptoms. |
i was only out for 15 miles...the temp was hovering around 35ish or so....haha i normally would have my leg warmers on but i couldnt find them! My calfs were cold for the first 10min or so then after i hit the first hill i was fine...

flying to pittsburgh this weekend, i don't think i can even comprehend weather that cold (i'm from socal). i found one of those old, vintage ski suits at the thrift store and i'm gonna rock it all weekend hehehe

I was thinking American. It's quite large and round.

That snowman is just working on its base.

Does anyone get a prize if we correctly guess the number of upper body layers you have on? My guess is 6 - base, t-shirt, long sleeve turtleneck, sweatshirt, jersey, long sleeve wind jacket.

Yikes, I have lived in Houston, Tx my whole life but will be moving to Pittsburgh in August. Gotta get a bike ready for the winters...

I need to HTFU. The last time I was out on my bike was a 44 mile ride on thanksgiving morning. It was mid 30's, raining and windy. I was miserable for the last 20 miles back to the car. Now I venture back to BF and see all you guys riding with snow on the ground.
