Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

DA 7800 Cranks Vs. Ultegra 6600 Cranks

Looking to upgrade from my current (wicked old school) DA 7410 cranks. Jensen has the 7800s for $250 and the 6600s for $150. The reviews for both are good, so I'm having trouble justifying the extra $100 but the 7800s just look so damn cool!!!

Also, I'd be upgrading to hollowtech II, how imperative is it that the BB shell gets faced? I would think that if I threw the BB on there and put the cranks in and had noticeable rubbing in one particular spot that would be a sign to get it faced but otherwise it should be good. Thoughts?
