Question about Cannondale 2.8 frame

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The frame came without a fork, so I won't be able to see if the front fits.

Exactly. Which is the exact reason why I'm contemplating either a fixie, or selling the frame after all. I did notice a 650C wheelset on marktplaats though.

Here are the promised pictures:

I suppose the best method would be to measure from dropout to the brake bridge and compare with another bike.

I have an older bike at home too, an '86 Raleigh Marathon. I'll be trying to fit the rear wheel of that tonight. It might fit, and with that I might be able to get another old road bike from ebay or something, and use that to donate its wheels and maybe some other parts. I'd like a 2.8 in my collection.
