Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sidi Shoes

Hi Everyone,
Didn't know if you all had been to Sidi America's website to see the competition that they have going on currently? I am one of the top ten finalists and am in the running for a complete Look bike and cycling kit. The link is: https://www.sidiamerica.com/sidi/sidi_community2.html
The voting ends on 17 March - I hope that you'll visit and vote for my story! Thanks!

Brad Houston

"It was in 2003 that my Sidis accompanied me to Iraq for a 13 month tour in the Sunni Triangle."

If that is true I'm happy I voted for you. Thanks!

Don't know why I would lie about it - I have been faithfully serving for the past 20 years. Thanks for the vote though.

OK. Am I really this pathetic?

Would someone care to explain how to vote? I cannot find any links or shiny buttons to press.

Go to the bottom of the inner-page that scrolls down, click on the circle next to Brad Houston, and then click vote (or something like that)

My vote's in for you!

I would like to say thanks to all of those that have voted for me thus far. No ideas on vote count and I guess I won't know until the 17th of March who wins. I won't be able to post any updates until after the 26th of March as my unit will be involved in some training over the next few weeks. Again thanks to everyone who has taken the time to read the stories and vote (especially if your vote was for me).

No k-pot and googles for me - Its my bell and oakleys on the bike. Although you wouldn't believe what they have done with our helmet (ACH) and ballistic eyewear these days - technology is great!

Brad, you got my vote. Thanks for your service.

I also liked Cheng's story of shrinkage "saved" by Sidi.
