I think the Cervelo looks pretty snappy in those pics, particularly with Psimet's cool 404 clincher Ptap wheel set.

If you had to choose just one wheelset between the two, clincher vs tubular 404s, which would it be?

patentcad 03-21-10 09:04 PM

The clinchers are more useable in more situations.

tubescreamerx 03-21-10 09:05 PM

indeed.

Yes but which would you choose?

I didn't snub you fatal, you were so far towards the back of the line I never even saw you prior to your inevitable shelling.

I don't know if I told you, but a couple of rides ago an old guy put the hurt on me... like seriously. I was averaging about 23 (don't pick on me for using averages :P) and he flew by so I chased and tried to stay on his wheel (just to have someone to talk to....there's nobody out on the roads by us) ....pft, shouldn't have even tried - he was running like 27 without even trying.

In all fairness to me though, he had fresh legs and I had already done my route once (40 miles) and was just repeating it again.

I thought Gsteinb was riding for a different team this year. This soap opera is hard to follow.

You should tell them to let me know where to pick up my stuff. They didn't contact me.

When did 50 or 60 get to be old all of a sudden**********

sheeeeeeshhhhh.........

So is Nyack pronounced the same way that Curly (of the three stooges) laughs? I imagine that it is.

I can go on but I'd prefer to let other "old guys" pile on.

My "fixed" quote was a joke Grumpster. In all honesty 85% of the people that frequent the Road sub forum could kick my butt on any given day.

Grumpy McTrumpy 03-22-10 07:37 AM

jokes that require explanation are considered bombs.

Old (presumably) guys that dump on "kids" just having fun are considered d*****bags.
