Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone USing the new Bont Shoes?

I saw a display of the entire range to choose from an they are very cool Starting at about $170....for the less costly. I am a cheapo and do not spend that much but I am considering it for these...I own a pair of their speed skate boots and they fit like a glove. Imagine Sidis for those who wear them but a better fit. Any way anyone have a pair and can offer feed back. The colors are also very cool

I have a pair of Bont rollerblade shoes and they are nice but they couldn't possibly fit better than my Sidi's. No sense for me experimenting anymore.

Bont != Bontrager

Ordered a pair about a year ago, sent them back without even trying them on. Quality was horrible

I just talked to these guys at the Taipei show last week. I am hoping to get a sponsorship for my team.

The difference is that the Bont shoes do it at 80deg Celsius whereas the Shimano shoes basically need an oven to do the same thing. This is due to the resin that Bont has been developing over the years. All in all pretty decent shoes and I hope I get a chance to ride them this year.
