A guy at Hains point in a Cadillac SUV (not escalade) buzzed me, mirror brushed my hand, then sped up and got right up on a group's ass. Honked, and proceeded.

Someone actually took my seat bag while the bike was on the rack on the back of the truck recently. Whatever.
Got buzzed by someone in a jacked-up, beat-up mid-90's powerstroke with a confederate flag in the bed tonight. Nothing new or exciting there.

Hopefully you're somewhere in the South. Confederate flags up North just don't make any sense to me.

I have been fairly lucky I guess. I had some idiot on a bike recently riding in the wrong direction not get the freak out of my way. Last year I had 2 girls in a drop top beamer, more than likely mommy's not only buzz me a little but talked a bit ugly at me, which isn't unusual here in Chicago. I had some power ade or gatorade, fruit punch, in the bottle I was hold as I was in recovery/cool down mode. So I splashed them with it since they wanted to slow down to and act tough as they slowly drove by me. I heard fruit punch stains light tan leather interior.

I had a car full of chicks on their p plates honk me very close yesterday, i flipped them the bird and they decided to wait at the next round about where i powered past them where i heard something thrown at me and their growns of disappointment as they missed (girls cant' throw for sh*t) and i proceeded to high tail it down the road so i could pull off on the sidewalk to escape.
oh and some young guys flashed a brown eye at me a little while back, but that was just funny as hell

Cyclist: Group ride tonight. Every one of them passed me as if I was standing still.

I had a girl in a VW bug say something to me today as I was coming into town, I'm not sure what it was. I sped up to catch her and see what was on her mind but as I started to catch up and she was stalling out in traffic she immediately turned off and headed up a sidestreet at max speed. She then passed me about 5 minutes later as I headed out the other side of town. She could have been saying 'nice butt' or 'get off my road idiot!' I'll never know. Until I see her green bug at a stoplight again.. It's a small town.

Was riding side by side with a friend on a very broad shoulder when some cage passenger decides to yell something about riding single file. Oh well, whatever. It's not like the driver and passenger in the car were traveling single file, or were in any way impaired by us riding on the shoulder. Some people just have odd, irrational hangups.

Got buzzed by some trustafarian in his landrover
I found that pretty ironic... They're the ones crying out to save the earth- I'm the one riding the bike, he's driving some off-road vehicle that probably gets 15mpg while harassing cyclists.

Im lucky that my rides have been uneventful. Did get honked at and got the finger. But it was a WTF moment as I was going the speed limit and it was a two lane road with plenty of room to pass, what are you going to do

Cyclist, squeezed between my wife and a steel rail, started making hissing sounds as if somebody flatted. Old stupid joke and I didn't fall for it but my wife and maybe 6 others on my wheel. Stupid move, could have actually tricked someone into a panic move, and being lodged in a tight place, stupid!.
Then the dude swung over to my left and said, why are you in such a hurry?" then started slapping my shifter in an attempt to shift my bike! 6 or 7 riders on my wheel
. He must have seen the auto reaction of my hand as it flinched into a thought of bish slapping his right eye!
We avoid that idiot now!

I would have b*itch slapped him. No one touches my bike but me if I am on it and moving. Some people just need a good solid beating to remind them that acting like a dbag has consequences.
EDIT: stupid sanitization of the forums. i hear worse stuff coming out of little kids; mouths than anything i've seen on a public forum. we ain't protecting anyone except the uptight.

unless it's a plate. have encountered more than a few ladies who could wing a plate
like al oerter and with the accuracy of greg maddox in his prime. don't ask.
