Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you like it buy it. Everyone has thier own taste.

As a clothing designer myself I can tell you that just about all athletic fabrics these days have the necessary performance characteristics. Also for fit, everyone knocks off the best fit so you have nothing to worry about there. If you like the style then go for it. I think it looks pretty cool and not too obnoxious(some of them get pretty wild)

You like it or you wouldn't have asked. I personally don't care for it. Buy it.

I like it, but it's getting close to summer. You'll have no need for a long sleeve jersey.

Actually it is made from polyester and the only problem you should have with keeping it clean is from pit stains and such, any other dirt should wash away with no problem. Polyester is oliophilic which means that any type of lipid(or fat) is all that will stain it, ie the oils that come out of your pores. If you want 1 jersey that you can wear for months and it looks new(or at least not gross) try to find one with dark inserts at the underarms, or dark side panels so the yellow pit stains wont show. Will take a little while to get stained though so its not a bad jersey, and you cant beat $40 either.

Personally I think it is a pretty cool looking jersey, at least you wont look like the jerk with adverts all over his outfit that is matchy matchy with his bike.

thanks for all the responses.

I like the non-team jersey thing but I'm iffy on the fact that it says "freestyle jersey" for no apparent reason

Not bad but I'd purchase a jersey that is a more visible color for road riding.

Bikes: the hummer brand mountain bike

it says "shark skin" (??? wtf???) and then it says "free style jersey" (hey guys my jersey is free style whatever the **** that means)
that is stupid, I would go with a cotton t shirt over that.

I'm not a fan of it, but does it really matter what we think? If you like it, wear it.

I think it looks nice except for the rainbow logo on the front being remeniscent of a gay pride rainbow symbol (which may perhaps say more about me - LOL)...

My only suggestion on buying ebay is a lot of the Chinese sellers have FUBR sizing charts. Normally wear a medium, I looked at the sizing chart before ordering which pointed me toward a large @ 5'10" @155lbs, so I figured "maybe so for chinese standards". So I stepped up bought the large, it came here (USA) way to big! Because returning the item was too expensive I went ahead and ordered the medium. It came but is the same size as the large!

Having a jersey that says "jersey" on it is kind of like having a bike that says "bike" or a car that says "car" on it...

I realize it says sharkskin...I just feel weird about wearing, for example, a jersey that says Campognolo or Trek when I don't even own any of their products. I'm sure this issue has been discussed to death and we don't have to rehash it here.

anyway, I don't see it as a gay pride symbol. BUT if that's what people are gonna SEE, then maybe I should avoid this. there are other jerseys out there.

Plenty of plain, reasonable priced jerseys here. As low as $35 for Bellweathers.
