Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Computer Time...need some imput

My Cateye Astrale 8 Computer finally bit the dust so I would like some suggestions on a new computer for my road bike. I am looking for wireless mostly but if I go back to wires I will probably get the same as what just broke since it has been very faithful up to this moment with the same features I have now. Trying not to blow a chunk in the wallet and can not afford something really nice like CycleOps so have to start small for now. Here is a list of what I am looking for now.
1.Cadence
2.Speed
3.Distance
4.Average Speed
5.Time

I really like my Cateye Strada Cadence. I believe there's a wireless version. For the secondary display it has time, ride time, cadence, distance 1 and 2, average speed, max speed, and total miles in that order. The main display is speed. I like mine because it's got everything I need. The whole computer being a button idea is neat and looks slick.

You may be able to get some help with your computer. My Strada Cadence was out of commission because the wire had gotten loose. I emailed their customer support and got a response within a few hours asking for my address. They sent me all the wires and harness for me to hook up the computer. They sent literally everything I needed except for the actual computer.
