A friend had a wheel with very similar symptoms: the spokes kept pulling out of the nipples (though not so dramatically!). Wish I could remember what brand he had. Most likely, the broken ones were the last to go, after the others had pulled out and strained them too much.[/QUOTE]

I think I see your problem. That's a 24h rim, and a 24h hub. If you only started with 22 spokes, you had an imbalance in there, leading to the early demise of the spokes you did have.
Of course, that means you only broke 7 spokes, if you count what's remaining.

Just got back from track practice, and dropped my wheel off at the LBS on the way. The rim and spokes are both busted beyond repair, but at least the hub is fine
. The guy I was speaking with didn't believe that I hadn't crashed, but the owner came by and recognized me from the ride Sunday, so here's hoping that my warranty claim is approved

I started with 24 spokes, it seems AP Calculus has ruined my ability to count properly

Obviously a build issue. There's no way a bunch of spokes just pull out like that if it's properly built. You're lucky you still have all your teeth.

I posted my weight in the OP, and my height later in the thread.
The first thing out of my mouth after I stopped was "I can't believe I'm still upright"
