Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bicycle Thinking in No Atmosphere

Just curious, would thinking on the bike be any different in a no atmosphere environment? Wouldn't neurons move more quickly, thereby resulting in faster decision making and better bike handling? At the least, wouldn't it be easier to outride a chasing dog or jump a pothole, assuming they existed in a no atmosphere environment?

I was going to make a remark to the effect of being disappointed in you, but under the circumstances I think you have just added value to the 41.

Why thank you Grumpy. I jump on the trends; no atmosphere is becoming a hot topic right now in bike circles. You must notice a difference up in the thin air of your mountain climbs, no?

This thread made me very sad, hope you're happy now. I'll get back to testing my helium filled bike tubing now.
