Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ahhh...beautiful bike....

And you ride where I ride...I'd recognize that sage brush and bench anywhere....if I were you I wouldn't leave that beauty unattended!

Way to support a local (Irvine) company too....I imagine my next bike will be a Felt....

Awesome!

Oh I hope you're satisfied. You have outschwagged the Schwagmaster.

Nice bike v.

Gulp! I'm getting that feeling I need another bike. (Please make it go away $$)

That is really nice. Played around with a Di2 bike up at BG in Indy last weekend. Warming up a bit to the E-shift.

Thank you.

Two questions.

1. Is that your Volksvagen Beetle?
2. Do you live on Evergreen Terrace? I know the family that lives at 742.

What? Part of the joy of owning a bicycle is finicking with cable adjustments! Come on.... this is like riding a bike on Nintendo Wii!

Just kidding! It would be ultra cool if it came in stealth matte grey scheme like that Veedub in the background.

Just thought the BF members subscribed to this thread should know that so far I have 700 miles on the first and only charge on my battery. The battery test light is still solid green. My first ride on this bike was May 22 today is June 12.

UPDATE: Today is JUNE 27 I have 1,300 miles (87 hours) also includes several hundred extra shifts in the shop showing customers how Di2 works. This is all on my first and only charge on my battery. The green battery light is now blinking (50% of battery life reached).

I've got more bike porn for you then. The transformation is almost complete. I received and installed my SRM Power Meter today. I waited 6 weeks but I know it will be worth all the waiting. It is a 7900 wireless unit with the new Powercontrol 7 head unit. I am finally free to use any wheel I want!!!!

The only people who "poo poo" Di2 are those who have not ridden it or just can't afford it. The stuff works and works better than any other group on the market hands down.

Felt has that bike very attractively priced. IIRC the retail is $5995. My LBS offered to sell me one for $5,400.
