I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with Reggie here. I say, if the wheels are nice you should keep them and build a new bike around them. To give you room (and the motivation to do so), you should send your current bike to me along with a $150 disposal fee...

they'll look fine. You have some white on your bike and red will just make the wheels stick out even more. IMO.

Don't worry about the color, it's all personal preference. if you hate it and can't stand to be seen on it, don't do it. if you like it, go for it.
... and as stated above, there is always spraypaint

oh this thread is so apt for me.
i swapped the wheels on 2 bikes around to see how they felt and it turns out i want to swap them permanently. The problem is the tyres are part of the whole theme of each bike. One is blue/yellow theme and the other is white/red. But now I have yellow tyres on the white/red and red tyres on the bue/yellow.
the tyres are so hard to put on they gave me blisters so i really don't want to swap tyres, but i look at the bikes and they look like they are sad.

Yeah, just don't put them in the same load of laundry together. The colors will bleed and you'll get a sissy looking frame and a grey looking wheel. Oh, and make sure you take the bar tape and tires off before you wash them too.
