Hello all. I am looking for some clip on bars to rest my forearms on when I am taking long rides on flat roads. Any suggestions on where to buy a good set would be greatly appreciated.

If you just want a cheap extra position get some of the Forte bars from Performance. Won't do anything for your speed, but should make you more comfortable as long as you don't need to rest your hands on the top of the bars much. Though if your long rides are shorter than say, 150 miles and don't include panniers full of gear, just adjust your position to get more comfortable with what you have.

I'm a big fan of the invisible clip-ons. They give me a nice spot to rest my forearms for short periods when my hands tire, or when I need to get extra low when riding into a headwind and, best of all, they're totally free and don't make me look like a Tri Geek.

I don't think you can go wrong with that for under $70. Have you also considered purchasing a used set on eBay?

What size handlebars do you have? I have a spare set of Scott aerobars that I listed in the for trade thread that I will sell you for $25+shipping, but they only fit 26mm bars I believe.

I have not looked on ebay yet. Will have to do that this week. Unsure of what size bars my bike has. It is a Jamis Ventura Race.
