How do you even get on a bike, if you're so afraid of everything?

Well, I can mount it to my bottle cage bolts just fine, but since I require two cages, and the mounting bracket did not fit with the cage even with longer bolts, I decided to mount it on the frame. Either way, about as difficult or time consuming as taking a piss.

You being afraid of co2 cartridges blowing up is quite hilarious. You try to act all tough guy in other threads, and you are afraid of something that has a infinitesimal chance of actually happening, unless you happen to pack the cartridge in with a bunch of thin sharp darts and shake vigorously for hours on end. Not particularly difficult, once you learn that you can't let the entire cartridge empty at one single go at full strength. Inflating a tire in seconds is right handy.

please tell me this is a joke? explode? come on dude, do you ride your bike on the road? we are 70 times more likely to get hit by a car than a runner. and how often are you actually using the pump?

Why not use your old mount? Most of frame pumps come in 1" outer diameter, give or take a little. I ditched my Blackburn and Road Morph went straight into old mount.

If he hates the road morph g, he will have the same "complaints" about that lezyne. apparently features to make it easier to use and less likely to tear the stem are bad things to have.

Just start out by buying a crappy little mini pump, like many of us did. Then after you get a few flats, if you're unhappy, upgrade to a better one. It's not rocket science.

Also, I've used a reaming tool when working on plastic, metal, and wood, with no problems. Why wouldn't it work on this?

i liked some of the features, others were gimmicky. but the fact that it would not mount in any of the 3 locations suggested by the instructions ( without mods ) was inexcusable.

you just don't understand anything about engineering. there are less features on a $150,000 porsche than on a $35,000 infinity. why ? because the best engineering is simplest.

besides that the product also must WORK. if it doesn't work its not a product - but a smoking heap of cow dung.

and no i am not required to drill anything out. they can go F*CK themselves. imagine if you bought a porsche and found out that the steering wheel only turns to the right and if you want to turn it to the left you need to open the hood and drill a few holes in a few places. can you even imagine that ?

like i said for $0.99 i would have bought it again and tried drilling more carefully. it's just not worth more than 99 cents.

because it has 2 holes on top of each other. you must enlarge one without touching the other. that's how i ruined it - my drill went all the way through both. they truly made it ultra-idiotic. if i met the guy who designed it i would tear gas him.

ever think that perhaps you got a messed up mount, and all your grief would have been extinguished with a simple replacement? my road morph g mounts just fine to both sets of lugs
