Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Don't be so eager to retract... You've heard that they make laptop/portable computers? And you may even have heard of 802.11 wireless networks? I think I can leave figuring out the implications as an exercise to the reader.

Bikes: "Wizard" Made in Hungary ladies cruiser. Age unknown. Possibly quite old. Steve Bauer sort of a mountian bike 18spd, 5spd Venture Caprice, '74 (I think) Triumph Single Speed and a stack of frames, bits and pieces.

While I've had a few bikes that were peices of crap, I never thought of crapping on 'em! This is where those split seats would come in real handy...

My shorts have the velcro crotch panel for this very purpose...don't yours? I can't imagine how awkward it would be to pedal with your shorts at mid-thigh.
