Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Deep. Posts like this should be relegated to the BikeForums philosophical subforum.

Nah, I think he's just glued to the webcast of Steve Jobs unveiling the new-generation iPhone.

We've seen a kinder, more gentle Pcad in recent months. Sometimes I get nostalgic for the gruffer, "F fuzzy kittens you Gomer from Hell" Pcad.

I think all the pain meds got to him.

No. Addicts are the "harshest bike on the planet" according to some sloth-like "bike expert" that used to taunt Pcad. So, that can't be why.

the only reason I am here is because I misread the thread title and though there would be pot roast.

One does wonder what Walter thought was inappropriate, and whatever that was, my own mental picture of what it may have been is far more appalling.

That being said, it would appear that Mr. Contador is going to hand everybody their friggin heads in July. Just sayin'.
