Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My new Wheels

I just got my wheels in the mail today-- Soul 3.0sl. I went for a 40 mile ride tonight and all I can say is WOW what difference over the stock wheels. They are really light and seem to roll forever. This was of course a scientific seat-of-the pants test. I did a lot of research on wheels, on here, LBS and online reviews, before I finally made a decision. I am glad I picked these and I think they look great on the bike

Flip the stem asap, or else.

Oh, and why do your "bottle cages" look like they're designed to hold ice cream cones? Are you some sort of fatty? What happened to the apple pie flavor at Baskin Robbins?

Nice wheels.

HaHa never noticed that about the bottle cages. I think its just the angle of the pic, they are Specialized cages. The stock wheels were Mavic CPX22

My Roubaix came stock with CXP22s as well. It's really pretty amazing the difference after I put on my 4.0s with speeds over 20mph.

Nice lookin' bike. I like the cages and the wheels.

Specialized needs to do something with that rear brake cable though...the gap is too big with the curved top tube.
