Since winter is coming, my dream bike is a Pugsley with road bars and STI's.
Although that will most likely change to a P4 when spring comes.
I'd get a custom paint job on either, so I don't care about the default paint job.

Has coddling tendencies.
Ridley Noah, custom color coordinated by me. (their website allows you to customize the color options)

I don't know. But I'm pretty sure these would be on it.

My first dream bike was a Cervelo Soloist Team w/ Sram, debadged Hed, Powertap, SMP... and I've got one in my apartment's bike vault... I'm planning on powdercoating it matte black w/ no decals, the components already are seat/pedals/hoods in black to match the stealth look, so that'll be good
Then, it was a 2010 Raleigh Team Carbon w/ Thomson stem/post, debadged Hed, Powertap, SMP, Sram, seat/pedals/hoods in white to matchy-match the frame- like the 2011 sitting in my living room.
I don't dream much larger than that.
In two years I may get a custom Tsunami, internally routed cables, geometry set up so I can run a 53cm TT and a 120mm stem... but I'm not sure.
Down the road, I may get a locally made custom steel bike, so I can run wide tyres, full fenders, comfortable long-range geometry, hydraulic disc brakes (when they finally show up on the market), but I'm not sure on that either.
Oh, and a 26" titanium mtb too....
The downside of sizing all my current bikes one-size-down, and then having an aggressive fit is that they aren't perfect for long casual rides

They try that and they end up with some butt ugly bikes. But I agree, the paint schemes are often too boring. On the other hand, I hate to want a bike for all the right reasons but be unable to buy it because it's too ugly to be in my house.

Well mine isn't so much of a dream anymore. My dream though was actually a 6.5 but then thought more and backed down to the 6.2. I don't have it yet but is ordered and paid for. I kept everything standard except for the color

A test bike of my current dream bike! Wouldn't that be normally the case when showcasing a new line in black? That's a pretty sweet color with very minimal Celeste in it. Does anyone actually own one here in BF? Would like some input on it... in case I win the Mega. Santa never came so my one in a million shot is the Lotto. LOL

Is it just me or do all these dream bikes* just basically look the same... you have basically three groups to chose from (but aren't really significantly different), some deep carbon rims, and two or three material types for frames with the same basic geometry. The only substantial differences are the endless variations of graphics, which, quite frankly gets boring pretty quick.
Yawn.

Even the graphics follow the same few tired themes.
I like owning and riding nice road bikes, but they really are all basically the same. There really are more interesting bikes to look at than these.
