Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Custom Jerseys

Anyone know a better site for custom jerseys than customsublimation.com? Maybe velowear.com? Anyone have any good or bad experiences here? Price is an important factor for me.

How about my club's sponsor... Louis Garneau? I'm happy with the quality of our jerseys. I have no idea about the pricing though.

I always thought Performance and Nashbar offered custom jerseys. If they did, I'd think it would be pretty cheap through them.

I got some jerseys from Velowear last January. (My company sprung for them. ) We got seven and they were around $50 each. We just got the semi-custom. Quality is excellent.

I've worked with Louis Garneau also. Had good experience with them and quality is great. Pricing is reasonable, but they do require you to buy x number of stuff. For example, we had to by atleast 16 jerseys.

Dear god, my team got Hincrapie stuff this year and the year before. It's horrible. The first year we put up with it because we got a good deal, but when it sucked just as much the second year, we decided he completely lost our business. The extra price anywhere else would be worth having clothing that actually stays together. The bibs come almost up to your sternum (trying peeing while wearing them, it doesn't work), seams came apart almost immediately, panels on the women's shorts were sewn together haphazardly (some upside down, some backwards, etc), sizing was wrong (another guy and I ordered XL jackets, got L; they were marked XL, but were the same size as the larges that some other guys got), arm warmers were made with the wrong pattern, and coloration was wrong (we ordered blue and yellow, got blue and got ugly-ass peachy-orange). I can't say it enough: don't buy from Hincrapie.
