Is it okay to wax your carbon frame ?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

lemon pledge for that citrus freshness.

CF is not as weak as it's made out to be besides you're only waxing the clearcoat or paint.

You will not damage your frame using wax. Just make sure the wax is not abrasive.

A clean bike is a fast bike and an easier bike to sell. Keep it up.

Another vote for BikeLust. It's designed for CF bikes. It's the only thing I use, and my bike looks great after three years.

I wax my bike about once every three months. Makes getting grime and other stuff off incredible easy as nothing sticks directly to the clear coat. The only time I would not wax a bike frame is when the paint is a matte finish cause the wax will even out the surface of the paint and make it look glossy. Getting it to look like matte again is a very tedious task of stripping off old wax thoroughly and one I don't recommend. Also Mothers quick detailer is a wonderful product that makes the need of washing non-existent if you maintain some level of cleanliness.

Probably won't hurt it, but it's not necessary. Stick to lemon Pledge, Simple Green, or Blue Dawn soap and warm water.

How many grams do you think the wax will add to the frame?

A wax with UV protection would actually be quite beneficial. Most CF frames do have paint on them, just like your car. It may be clearcoat only, but it's still paint.
