Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's a pretty open-ended question.

A little more information would help.

I used to have the Mavic Avenir pedals (LOOK style) on my bike until I had the money to upgrade to Speedplays. They took some getting used to but at $50 from performance they served me pretty well as my first true clipless pedal.

If you (and it seems that you don't) don't care really about getting really NICE pedals and just want some good clipless ones I suggest looking on ebay for some "almost new" or "opened but never used" pedals. You can find some great deals on regular run of the mill pedals like wellgo, shimano etc....

Why not replace them with the same model from Performance or Nashbar?

Are you wanting the double sided version for easier entry?
$35 free shipping, no tax, pretty hard to beat.

Or more of the same, $52?

Another vote for the 520L's if all your looking for is a new pedal. Plus you get to use the same cleats if you have them.

Get something that fits the cleats you already have. Look for gently used stuff, on Craiglist, or eBay, or whatever.
