Cheap and light wheels
I've been looking at wheelsets and narrowed it down to either the Blackset Race Ten Wheelset from BWW (bicyclewheelwharehouse.com) at 1451g for $350 shipped and the Bike Soul (bikesoul.com) S2.0 Low Profile Wheelset at 1330g for $480 shipped. There are also some used Kyrsium SL wheels on craigslist for 400. I'm leaning towards the Bike Soul wheels but that extra $130 could go towards a carbon fiber bar...

both will be very good. i have the blacksets built up as SS for my commuter, they are very nice.
keep in mind that, depending on your timetable, you'll be able to get your hands on the BWW wheels much sooner than the souls (i'm assuming your in the US on that one)
