Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hudz?

I just got some used dura ace 7700 levers and the hoods on them are pretty worn. I was looking into buying new ones and came across "Hudz" (with an umlaut over the u) which seem to come in 2 different softness, but there is little info or reviews about them.

Anyone use them?

I just purchased some not too long ago (white). I think I got the softer compound, not real sure about that. Nothing special, they're hoods. If you're looking for a dramatic change then you'll be disappointed. But if you're just after replacements in a variety of colors, then I would think you'd be happy with these.

I've got Red ones on my bike and I think they are pretty cool. Quality is good and they are a relatively inexpensive way of ringing the changes or smartening up some older levers.

I have them; they match my bar tape.
