What does Secteur mean?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What does Secteur mean?

I've searched a bit and couldn't find anything definite. There's apparently a "notorious rap band" from France with the name "Secteur A", but I suspect Specialized didn't name the bike after them. Secteur is also apparently French for sector. And Google Maps turned up a few small places with the name Secteur. I ask because the Secteur is on my very short list to buy and would want to be able to answer peoples who ask, "duh, what does secteur mean?"

Bikes: Old Cannondale touring bike

It DOES refer to the cobbled sectors of the famous Paris-Roubaix race and it's many tough cobble-stoned sectors. The carbon version of that bike (same geometry) is the Roubaix. Google "Paris-Roubaix"...a race for hard men.
