I just realized how much it was shaped like my San Marco Ponza OEM
saddle that I liked more for aggressive riding than my Fizik Aliante,
but it didn't have the quality (even though it has the Antares' shape).

My CAAD9 relegated to beater/commuter duties... I should chop down the steerer and shorten/replace the shifter cable housings, but I keep thinking I might sell it and it's a pain to mash down the starnut, so it doesn't get done.

Anyone know if the warning sticker on the bottom of the seat tube comes off? Almost seems under the clear coat or something and I'm not even sure the BBQ paint has a clear coat.
I know I can cover it, but I just want it off.

I made this sticker in about 5 minutes on Zazzle.com.
It costs about $10./shipped and you get (6) 3"X3" stickers.

Well i'm pretty new here and to be honest, i'm probably not going to read all 115 pages of this epic thread. I just wanted to say that I got into road biking last year with an entry level CAAD9 and loved it. I thought about upgrading my components and wheels, but instead opted to buy a new CAAD10 with a better component group. Anyways, i'm glad to see that the bike i love is getting so much love here!!

Since my CAAD9 is not my primary road bike anymore, I decided to have fun and put some WWII style nose art on it, like Mark Cavendish had on his bike a few years ago in the TdF. I had mirror image USA versions of the gal he had on his Scott Addict, but the CAAD9 is not as deep and beefy at the HT/TT/DT junction, so I had a problem getting the large decal to lay flat on the DS. When I tried using some superglue, it started to mess up the printing, so I removed it. Unfortunately, I only had one set of each pinup, so now I have non-matching nose art on either side of the HT.
DS:

NDS:

Cavendish's TdF bike:

I gotta have some fun riding on two wheels! Hope y'all do too!

NWTD. New Wheels and Tape Day! lol
Washed, waxed, lubed.
Stem on the way so I can flip and remove some spacers.
2ndGen: I saw on WW you posted about a shorter headset stack, but now I can't find the thread.. do you have that cane creek link?
