Damnit, I went in to my LBS today to hopefully buy a black CAAD10 3 and they report ZERO black CAAD10 3's available to order from Cannondale
Told me I'll have to wait until August/September to order a 2013 CAAD10.

Don't think I have a pic of my CAAD9 on this thread.
Full Rival
3T cockpit
Fulcrum Racing 3 wheel set
Toupe saddle
Stock seat post and fork, would love a recommendation on a fork swap.
Not slammed yet but I have shifted 3 spacers above stem.

Welp, I ended up finding out that REI had a white/red CAAD10 3 in stock (my LBS doesnt stock 10-3's) and went to check it out (having not liked the colors from the online picture on cdale's site) but really liked it in person. Went over to my LBS and bought one, they said I should have it in my hands by Wednesday/Thursday!

Here's my CAAD9, I'm rediscovering how much I like this bike now that I'm taking a long break from Tri training due to injury (no running for a long while)
-I decided to get ridiculous and pull the 90mm rear from my Tri bike, here it is in a 90/50mm combo
Sorry about the cell pic

After about a year of reading, researching, lurking the forums, test riding and trying to find best deal on a first road bike I bid and won this baby from ebay. Seller is from UT and I just sent payment today, can't wait till she gets here!
I'm such a noob with this roadie stuff too. I can tell you anything about hockey equipment and what's good/what's not but with bicycle stuff I'm in the dark. This has a Fizik Arione Saddle, cateye and 3t seat post, and some 3t bars. idk if that's good or bad but I bought the bike because how much I enjoyed the test rides on the ones at the LBS. Need pedals and a bucket cause safety first. Anyway I'm pumped and nervous at the same time cause there's so much for me to learn but I'm ready to learn and ready to finally start riding. (sry this is long winded, just excited)

Question for the gurus, coming from someone soon to join the fold.
Am I better off getting the 10-5 and upgrading the wheels or the 10-3 and leaving it stock? This will be my first road bike, but I'm already an avid cyclist and I expect to progress quickly. Opinions are appreciated!
(side note, anyone from Canada know if the salespeople at sporting life are commissioned? They denied it but I definitely got the impression..)

I have no idea lol, something affordable that protects and something that has mad airflow cause down south here it is hottt! Any suggestions are appreciated though. My hockey buddy who's been nagging me to get a bike a ride the past year; come to find out he doesn't even wear a bucket. I was like wha...! Coming from a motorcycle and these insane drivers in SWFL I'm def getting some cover.

The only reason I ask is because cyclists (or at least all the ones that I've met) don't call them buckets, lol! So before I asked, I didn't even know what you were talking about (I thought I'd play along), but thanks for clarifying (if you walk into a bike shop, I don't think they'd know what a bucket is, so say helmet).
I have a Bell Array in black. Just go to your LBS and try whichever one you think looks good. Whether you want to buy at the LBS or online is up to you; it's your money (I hope).

Best deal would be an Easton EC90 SL or Ritchey WCS from eBay. Preferably an auction. Enves are all the rage and they do look nice. But you pay a premium for that popularity.

@pinkbullet3 Helmet...got it! lol. I'll check around the local LBS and see what is available. and yes totally my money
@DS113 Sry bud, lol that's crazy though. I had to win it. If I lost, I was going to buy new cause I was fed up with CraigsList dead ends & such. My max was $1301 and I put the bid in on the last 10 seconds.

It looks like a fine ride, enjoy it!
