Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

by one of these do you mean a CAAD in general or were you referring to the CAAD8?

I have not seen a 48 CAAD10 either. Well a womens version but I don't think that's what you're looking for are you?

Nope.

Doesn't help matters that there's only one Cannondale dealer within 50 miles of my house and out of town dealers can't ship bikes.

Sorry, was referring to Johnny's 10...I have Reynolds wheels as well, so always enjoy seeing them on bikes.

I mentioned this in another tread, but I purchased a 52mm 2013 alloy CAAD10 5 at a local Orlando shop last week for $1450. I'm not sure how far you want to travel but I was in the shop yesterday and noticed that they had atleast one more (like mine) available on the showroom floor. The sale info on the website indicates the following sizes are available (48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 63). If interested you may want to give them a call and confirm the 48mm is still available. (Orange Cycle, 407-422-5552).

No, that's about the right size for someone who's slightly above 5" tall.

Thanks. Orlando is like a 10 hour drive though. I'd like to ride one of these things before I buy it, but that's darn near impossible it seems.

That would be a long ride. Hope you can locate a dealer closer to home, and test ride one. Unfortunately, I’m not aware of any dealers who ship them outside their area. Seems like they’re all for local pickup at their stores . Perhaps part of their dealer agreement with Cannondale. Good luck.

most if not all C'dale online dealers won't ship. even some of the ones on ebay say no shipping. if you are dead set on getting a caad10 you may have to travel.

I emailed with a dealer this week out of New York (I think) and he told me they can't ship Cannondale bikes. All the manufacturers I'm interested in have a similar deal, and there's no bikes out there within 50 miles of my house I'd fit on besides 2 ladies' Bianchis.

the fact that you exclude the online market will limit you. you could find your size online but you require a test ride. i hope it works out, but again, I think you will have to travel.
