Woah. I want that black/blue frame. I enjoy a good aqua blue. If I had to pick a favorite color, I'd pick aqua blue. Not as classy as black/white or black/black IMHO, but I'd still ride it - if, of course, the geometry was set to a men's.

A priceless CL ad! Far as I can tell, it's nothing more than an old-school Bad Boy rigid, probably circa early 2000s; CAAD 3 (see pic of c/s) vintage. Pretty sure those are 559 wheels w/slicks. Nice bike, but certainly not 'as advertised'!

Finally got up the guts to post the CAAD 9 I built up. Gathered parts from here and there and put it together.
I know the stem is grotesque but I'm in a quandary as to whether I keep the CAAD or move the components to a Ridley Orion frame that I have (I know, heresy on this page). I rode the Ridley last year and thought it was the bomb. But then I got the CAAD frame and put it together. I'm wondering if the CAAD isn't the one. When I first put the CAAD together, I was like 'wow!'. It seems like a beast on hills and just flies.
I know, just build up the Ridley (thermalattorney has just the stuff I need!) and keep both. But that puts me at N+3 since I have a Synapse and a Trek (for riding with my daughters). Decisions, decisions.

I am 6'3" so this bike is suitable for a medium to tall man.
A flat black frame with glossy lettering
Black rims.
Precision Shimano Deore thumb shifters.
A well padded thin race seat.
Quick release front & rear wheel hubs.
Tall seat post.
A neck extender was added for more comfort because of my height.
FREE EXTRAS:
helmet.
smart phone holder.
neck extender.
2 water bottle holders.
long seat post.
This 24 speed Cannondale has only one owner and was purchased new as a birthday present. I no longer have time to ride so I must sell. It was purchased at $1280.99 in June of 2013 but due to usage i am willing to go as low as $900.00 o.b.o..
The Cannondale bike is in very good shape with low milage and only a few blemishes to the flat black frame the shows up shiny(rubbed by legs).
There is something seriously wrong with that bike. Check out the fork! Looks like an old style steel fork. I'm all for customizing your bike to your style but this is sad.

That Craigslist bike says "CAAD3" on the frame so no "CAAD10" there, probably around 1996?

Anyone tried to re-badge their bike? I have a 2013 CAAD10 Black Inc. and I love the bike but I've noticed the lettering "CAAD10" is coming off on the rear frame tubes. I can only assume that they can be removed with acetone? If so I was thinking about either removing them and leaving it be or removing all of them and re-lettering the whole bike with either white or the team green like the 2014 Black Inc. only more traditionally with large lettering on the downtube, fork, and seat tube? Or just remove them all and go for that stealth look?

Doesn't Cannondale have a paint warranty? Like for the first year they cover it (as always the bike cant be crashed or anything)
but removing your lettering will void your warranty if I remember the fine print right.......

if you repaint or do anything to the paint your whole warranty is void bro. At least thats what I remember reading when I read the fine print.

The C'Dale site lists an SRP of $1995 for the 2014 Rival CAAD 10. My 2012 10 4-rival was $1700 OTD, when I bought it in Jan '12. There are some deals still around for the few 2013 that I have seen listed. There was a Force model in 2012 but no longer available. Best of luck with the search if you decide to go after one.

That is a pretty good price for your bike, too bad the taxes are so high in Quebec (our son travels up there frequently and did a graduate term. at university, in Montreal, beautiful area.) My price in 2012 was with tax, it was actually a bit over 1700, cannot remember the exact figure, though. I absolutely love my 10 4, it has been completely trouble free and performs wonderfully on all types of road surfaces. It will be my ride for many, many years as good as it is. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

I'll be honest, I passed this bike by quite a few times just because the Gold didn't really do it for me, but after buying the bike, its growing on me. I bought it in November so its not too old, I just noticed that the gold lettering is either coming off or is chipped from leaning the bike on bike stands. There's only two little chips but the bike still has that new bike look and feel so I'm noticing every little scratch. I checked with Cannondale and the decals/lettering are covered under their warranty for a year so I have some time to see how it goes. I already took acetone to the Cannondale C1 Components to remove the white stripes and lettering which made a huge difference so the Gold might be next???

I got my bike at the end of December, have about 700 miles on it now, best bike I've ever ridden. Handling is impressive and Di2 is on a whole new level.
