Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

When I bought my RS 3 years ago, I was ready to plop down the cash for a carbon Specialized roubaix, and the sales guy did the same thing with me... He told me to take it out for a test ride just for kicks. Once I rode it, I couldn't buy anything else. To make you feel better, I plopped down $4K for my RS at that time. The shop now has last year inventory RS's marked down for about $3K. Even though I spent more $$, I haven't looked back, because I've had over 3000 great miles and have lost 24 pounds.

Ilan.

Somethings tells me they'd be delighted to sell you one.

6:30 AM We met for The Race and for The Cervelo's maiden ride.

The Fred Race.

He won, he only had one water bottle, I had two, that slowed me down.

Nice ride Fred, Very nice to get to meet you and ride with your New Great Fast Bike.

Careful. It's addictive. That's how I got mine. I planned on a quick test ride just to see what they were like. The sales person said I wasn't dressed wram enough and offered warmer clothes from the store to wear for a nice long ride. I came back, picked out the way I wanted the new bike built, and three days later rode it away.

Nice bike and good price! I have the same bike and almost the same experience in my purchase, except I went in looking at the R3 and left with the RS. Enjoy!
