Removing glue residue AFTER sticker removal?
Removed some decals on the wheels.. still has glue residue on it which attracts dirt... how do I remove those residual traces? I've tried alcohol and Goof-Off to no success. Suggestions?

3M adhesive remover (red can - I've never tried their citrus-based stuff in the black can). I used a quart of this to remove some vinyl graphics off of an old van I bought. It can be found at autobody supply or Shucks/Autozone type places.

Don't know if it'll do any damage but lighter fluid takes off left over adhesive very well. Again, i haven't tried it on bike wheels and don't know if it'll ruin them at all but i've used it on several other things and it works wonders. I usually put it on a cotton ball.

Strangest thing, but baby oil, rub on and it must take the
tackiness out. Rub off with paper towel.

You can use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften it up and it will roll into little balls when you rube your finger on it hard. Adhesive remover with a citrus base works awesome too.

Goo gone is perfect for sticker residue. I have no idea why, but my stickers on my rims left no residue. Guess I'm just lucky.

+whatever for Goo-Gone, use a generous amount either directly on the residue or on a rag which you then rub on the residue. Heating also helps, it's mostly patience and elbow grease.
