Cheap Shoes

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cheap Shoes

I think it is time for me to get some bike shoes. I am on a budget so I need to get the cheapest shoes available. I have seen many shoes and I just don't know which shoes are good. I am looking only at clip less shoes because I can't afford pedals. Please give me any suggestions you might have! Thanks!

If I am reading this right, shimano makes relatively inexpensive, decent clipless pedal shoes. I hope you are clear on the concept that clipless shoes require cleats and clipless pedals, as the nomenclature is bizarre from the outside looking in.

Yes. You can't ride a bicycle without pedals.

Free shoes would be the lowest price you could get. Gotta clarify on what pedals you use and such.

What size do you wear? If you respond, I will tell you why I asked.

Shoes aren't going to do you any good without clipless pedals

Just get whatever then. Harder the sole, the better power transfer, but honestly I don't think it would matter much. Just wear/get whatever you like.
