Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Carbon vs. AL wheels

What are some of the advantages/disadvantages of carbon wheels over aluminum? Are they more difficult to maintain, more easily susceptible to damage, more 'supple' and vibration dampening? I'm contemplating getting a set of Easton EC70's to replace my EA70's, and just want some opinion or experience with carbon wheels or even better if you have specific experience with the Eastons. Thanks!

Carbon wheels are lighter, and if they have a carbon braking track, don't brake as well, espectially in wet weather,
