Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Let's talk food.

I'm curious to see what everyone's eating habits are around here. Not to judge anyone or put anyone down whatsoever, I'm just genuinely curious about what you guys eat. It's one of the many facets of human life that really interests me (it's odd, I know).

Personally, I'm Vegan. I grew up on a typical American diet and over the past year or so I transitioned to Vegetarianism and recently made the leap to Veganism altogether and I'm quite happy with it.

Also, feel free to share some favorite dishes, recipes, restaurants, or anecdotes about food.

I don't eat much meat anymore because my roommate is sort of vegetarian. We split the grocery bill, so we rarely buy any meat.

I'm not too worried about my diet though. I don't weight much and I blame it on my high metabolism. Since I've moved, my commute has also gotten longer, which has caused me to drop a few pounds.

I'd say I eat pretty healthily. I don't eat out much and usually make my own food instead of making quick meals in the microwave.
