Join A Race Team?

So since i moved here back in Aug, i have only ran into one other cyclist(I ride 5 days a week.. chances are id run into someone NOT). Unfortunately that individual left so i'm back to training by myself. So now i'm looking at joining a team in kansas city to have people to train/ride with. what do yall think?

fa63 11-16-10 09:14 PM

Do it.

ILUVUK 11-16-10 09:22 PM

Why not? I'd like to join a team, but the current situation doesn't allow for it.

Creatre 11-16-10 09:28 PM

Yes

what are your goals? What do you want to get out of being on a race team? Do you want to race or do you just want people to train with?

Kansas City you say? Isn't that where Razor lives?

There's your riding partner right there!

And someone to verify his tall tales...

I agree with UMD it depends on what your goals are but go for it if that's what you want to. Other wise I'm sure u can find some group rides online in your area to join (cycling club etc). What's wrong with training/riding on your own though.

ALLSTOTT 11-16-10 10:09 PM

Yea i intend on racing as much as the Air force and my body will allow me to this coming race season. So i'd like to ride with individuals that have that same mindset. I will be training alone for the most part, because KC is 50 miles one way from me. I definitely wont be driving up there everyday to train.

Join the team.. it'll be fun and you'l make friends.

vernacular contraction of "you & all"

but that was rhetorical, wasn't it?
