10 layers?

I am planning to ride in similar condition tomorrow morning. Hopefully I don't need 10 layers.

rjones28 12-02-10 04:26 PM

Well done. I didn't expect that video.

ADSR 12-02-10 07:32 PM

When I was in Moab over thanksgiving I rode in fewer layers, and it was only 32 degrees. http://sae.tweek.us/static/images/em.../emot-smug.gif

Meh. I still wear a paper thin wool jersey when it's that cold.

Paul Y. 12-02-10 08:16 PM

2 thin layers of wool and a jersey. 30 here this morn.
keep neck and face covered. That works best for me.

E-motion rollers are for women.

sbxx1985 12-03-10 10:06 AM

I've never heard of E Motion rollers.

Former white collar prosecutors rarely have a sense of humor.

tuxbailey 12-03-10 10:28 AM

Today I started out at 31 degrees. I count my layers:

Top:

- Pantagonia Capelene base layer
- North Face base layer
- Swobo wool jersey + Smart Wool arm warmers
- GBW Phantom Wind Stopper

Bottom:

- Performance bike shorts
- Performance long tights

Hands:

- Pantagonia glove liners
- Zoot full finger gloves

Feet:

- Smartwool PHD socks
- Shoes
- GBW Gore-Tex Booties

So, not including the shoes, I do have 10 layers ;)

Edit: I forgot the balaclava on my head. So I have 11 :)
